Indian team have beated Indies 2-0 in the recently concluded test series. This was one really much needed victory given the fact all eyes were on Indian Team after the WC Heartbreak.
India have beated them in all three formats and have achieved a complete clean sweep and actually answered all the questions that were raised after what happened in World Cup.
The best part about this victory us that literally there was no change in the approach of Indian Team. They played like champions, the way they played earlier.
All the stars Virat, Rohit, Bumrah, Shami, Jadeja all of them are looking in the same space they were earlier. The whole chaos created after the world loss, selection of coaching staff, rumors of Virat – Rohit rift looks like everything will get settled after this victory.
The boys have started brilliantly to the whole new concept of World Test Championship and have definitely putted the right foot forward.
However, it needs to be mentioned here that Indies was never such a threat and we have to look very closely how all the things go here onwards.
The positives that can be taken from this series is Hanuma Vihari and Mayank Agarwal. Specifically Vihari who went on to get Man of the Match award for his brilliant performance.
Also the pace trio of Bumrah, Shami and Ishant is really looking dangerous. You know how good they must have performed to get acknowledged by someone like Viv Richards.
It would be really interesting to see how these young guys perform at the top level when the opposition becomes stronger. Till then everything is looking really good for Team India.
