Hi Guys,
” Thanks a lot for your love and support throughout. From 19:29 consider me as Retired “
With these heartbreaking words the biggest Leader of Indian Cricket, MS Dhoni has announced his retirement from Indian Cricket.
It’s now officially an end of The Golden Era we witnessed under him.
Why was MS Dhoni so special for Indian Cricket?? Let’s discuss a few points that show his impact on Indian Cricket
The Only Captain To Win All Three ICC Trophies ->
This is one record that itself establishes the fact that he was by far the Biggest Leader in World Cricket.
1. World T-20 in 2007
2. World Cup in 2011
3. Champions Trophy in 2013

His Calmness In The Toughest Pressure Situations ->
All the three ICC Trophies that he got were not one sided matches. He kept himself and the whole team so calm that lead to the victory of crucial moments.
The Biggest Cricketing Brain & The Biggest Risk Taker ->
1. Promoting Himself at Number 5 in 2011 World Cup Final.
2.Handing over the ball to Ishant Sharma in the 2014 Lords Test or 2013 Champions Trophy.
3. Joginder Sharma bowling the final over of WT-20.
All these events show how good is his cricketing brain.
His Match Finishing Ability ->
Whenever he was asked how much pressure he felt in the last over of his best chases, he would just smile and say –
” Pressure should be on the bowler as he is bowling the last over with only 15-20 runs to defend “
That’s how confident he was of his match finishing skills. No one ever can match that.
The Sacrifices He Gave For The Team ->
1. The biggest sacrifice he gave for the team was that he completely changed his flamboyant game into a lot responsible one as he became the captain of the side.
Gautam Gambhir just said in an Interview ” World Cricket would have seen a much more dangerous and flamboyant MS Dhoni if he had not become the captain of Indian Team.
2. He sacrificed his batting position for the team. Once he became the captain he hardly ever batted at number 3 or 4 just to give more opportunities to youngsters.
He kept the toughest position of number 6 always for himself and still kept performing consistently.
3. He could not see his daughter Ziva during her birth as he was in Australia preparing for the 2015 World Cup.
On being asked he said that he was on a national duty and all other things can wait.
He didn’t even missed a single Practice Match for his personal reasons.
His Humbleness Throughout The Career ->
He is one man whom you would never find fighting on the field or even sledging or abusing the opposition.
He would always stand in the farthest corner while clicking the team picture after victories.

Thus, much more than the trophies he has won, he has won hearts of people across the globe.
Dear MS Dhoni,
We smiled when you smiled while lifting the 2011 World Cup Trophy,
We cried when you cried after getting run out in the 2019 World Cup Semifinal.
And when you say ” Mai Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hu “
Those Do Pal were the Most Haseen Do Pal for every cricket fan.
Thanks for all the beautiful memories.

So, all the cricket lovers out there tell me about your most favorite memory of MS Dhoni……

This brilliantly describes the incredible impact that Captain Cool has had on the world of cricket. I might not have a specific moment to refer to but his calmness while in leadership and choosing to be a middle order batsman are two extremely commendable feats. Thank you MS Dhoni for an era of groundbreaking cricketπππ

Thanks a lot, Monique.
Even I believe it was his calmness that always proved to be the most crucial factors for all the Major Victories we got under him.
