Teams Start Losing Players Ahead Of IPL 2020

Heyy Guys,

The wait is almost over as our very own IPL is just two weeks away….

But, like every IPL season we have already started losing players even before the start of the season.

However, the thing to notice is that none of the players who have decided not to participate have not taken their names back because of any injury.

All of them have some sort of personal reasons to pull out of this edition.

The list of players includes ->

1. Suresh Raina

2. Lasith Malinga

3. Harbhajan Singh

4. Kane Richardson

5. Ben Stokes (not confirmed yet)

It all started with Suresh Raina when he just returned back to India after joining the CSK camp for a couple of days.

Things are not yet clear what were the exact reasons of him pulling out of the season at last moment.

Also, their are chances that he might come back but their isn’t any confirmation.

Harbhajan Singh and Lasith Malinga have also announced their unavailability citing personal reasons.

Kane Richardson has skipped the season for birth of his first child. He has been replaced by his countrymate Adam Zampa.

It certainly looks like a big bonus for RCB in UAE conditions.

Ben Stokes might withdraw from this season because of his father’s cancer treatment.

If that happens, it would be a big blow for Rajasthan Royals. The whole team certainly revolves around him as they don’t have many match winners.

Whatever reasons these guys have quoted, it looks like Covid-19 must have influenced their decision.

It must be noted that Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaekwad have already been tested positive.

This means they might not be available right from day one for CSK and adds insult to the injury.

You will hardly see any player specifically Indian players pulling out of an IPL season without any injury.

It’s quite interesting that players like Raina, Harbhajan and Malinga don’t play International Cricket any more.

As they have left out from this season they might never get a chance to play IPL looking at their age.

The point that must be noted here is, we still have 14 days left before IPL begins.

How many more players will pull out their names of this season would be quite interesting to know.

Also, the more players skipping the season, the less interesting season it would turn into.

As a cricket lover you don’t want them to leave this festival.

Let’s see how things will go from here……
