IPL 2020 : Preview & Predictions ( Part 2 )

Hii Guys,

Hope you liked the first part of IPL 2020 : Preview & Predictions.

If you haven’t read it yet you can read it here :

In this blog I will discuss about rest of the teams ->

1. Kolkata Knight Riders

2. Royal Challengers Bangalore

3. Kings XI Punjab

4. Rajasthan Royals

So let’s begin…..

Kolkata Knight Riders ->

Kolkata Knight Riders have a lot of questions to answer this year.

Who’s going to open for them??

At which position is Dinesh Karthik going to play ??

How much will they rely on Andre Russell??

They have left Uthappa and Piyush Chawla from the side.

So it’s going to be a good point to ponder as they were the last member of the core group of the victorious KKR under Gautam Gambhir.

Now, it’s almost a complete new and yound side that DK will have to handle really well.

Shubhman Gill is the player to watch out for as he is the most promising youngster approaching the Indian Team.

It would be interesting to see how they use Pat Cummins whom they bought for a whopping 15.5 Cr.

Royal Challengers Bangalore ->

RCB is one team that always remains in news doesn’t matter they perform or not.

The prime reason for this is Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers as they possess such a huge fan following across the globe.

Addition of Dale Steyn is crucial, but we don’t know how fit he is and how much he will play for RCB.

All eyes would be on Devdutt Paddikal who is going to make his debut this year and looks really promising.

Chris Morris is a good buy but doesn’t seem like he can do justice to the price they have bought him for.

Kings XI Punjab ->

KL Rahul is the new flamboyant player of Indian Team and now he will be leading an IPL team for the first time in his career.

The best part about this team is their head coach Anil Kumble who has proved his leadership and coaching skills time and time again.

The problem with the team is lack of balance and power players.

However, they can play an army of mystery spinners in Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Ravi bishnoi and Murugan Ashwin.

Ravi Bishnoi would be the surprise package keeping in mind his Under-19 performance.

While, Mohammed Shami holds the position of a leader in bowling attack it would be interesting to see how others compliment him.

Rajasthan Royals ->

Well this is one team that relies heavily on one player i.e. Ben Stokes.

The complete fortune of Rajasthan Royals lies upon the availability of Ben Stokes. However, still there is no clear update whether he will be playing or not.

While the bowling line up looks weak, they have power packed top order in Samson, Smith, Stokes and Uthappa.

Who can forget Yashasvi Jaiswal the rising star from Under-19 World Cup ??

It’s quite interesting to see if Rajasthan will play him right from the first match.

Predictions :

1. Shubhman Gill would pile up a huge number of runs.

2. Maxwell might again not perform for KXIP even though he has got a huge price.

3. Kuldeep Chawla and Yuzvendra Chahal the leggie pair of Indian Team will be among wickets looking at the conditions.

What predictions you have in your mind??
