IPL 2020 : Week 2

Hii Guys,

Can you imagine even a single week of Indian Premier League without surprises??

I don’t think anyone can!!

And that’s how the second week of IPL 2020 was.

Some real big performances and some really ordinary ones too…..

Let’s discuss this week from every teams perspective.

1. Chennai Super Kings

This week was terrible for the Super Kings.

They first lost to RR and then against Delhi without even getting close to the target.

They will have to make some big changes if they want to make a good come back.

2. Rajasthan Royals

The best team of this week was Rajasthan Royals.

They first defeated the mighty CSK and then KXIP in two high scoring battles.

They have performed really well in Sharjah but it would be great to see how they will adapt to Dubai and Abu Dhabi conditions which are quite different.

3. Kings XI Punjab

Punjab have still not get the kind of results they should have gotten as per their performance.

Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul are batting brilliantly.

They should have won all three of their games but have won only 1.

4. Mumbai Indians

After their first loss, they have got the rhythm back as they defeated KKR with quite a big margin.

Rohit’s innings must have given them huge confidence.

5. Royal Challengers Bangalore

Their first victory against SRH must have given them huge confidence.

But in the next match against Punjab, they played like a typical RCB side does.

A huge margin of loss has put them with -2.1 net run rate which is really big.

6. Delhi Capitals

Delhi went on to become the table toppers by defeating Dhoni’s CSK.

Their Indian players are really strong compared to any other team which makes them a real big contender this season.

7. Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR started off badly against Mumbai but came back very strong against SRH.

But still, there combination looks horrible as they play Narine, Russell and Cummins in top 7 making their batting look vulnerable.

8. Sunrisers Hyderabad

With two losses in two games, they are still to open their account yet.

David Warner is yet to fire and so is Bhuvi.

I believe they need Kane Williamson to strengthen their batting as they don’t have anyone in middle order to give them consistent runs.

The Best Moments of The Week :

1. Mayank Agarwal’s scintillating knock of 106 from just 50 deliveries against Royals.

2. Ravi Bishnoi raising himself to the international level.

3. Pooran’s great save that was applauded by Sachin Tendulkar as the best save ever done.

4. Rahul Tewatia’s 5 sixes in an over against Sheldon Cottrell

5. Shubhman Gill taking KKR home against a quality SRH bowling line up.
