Hello Guys,
“2020” The most unpredictable and uncertain year has finally delivered something very normal.
Rohit Sharma lifting the IPL trophy and Mumbai Indians being the IPL champions yet again.
It’s one thing that cricket fans have become used to and possibly one of the very rare normal thing to happen in 2020.
You don’t even need to use the word ‘consistent’ for a team which has got the trophy 5 times in the last 8 years.

Mumbai Indians have certainly moved from the tag of “Team To Beat” To “Team that cannot be beaten“.
So which things went in the favor of Mumbai Indians this season??
Let’s have a look –
1. They have got the most number of Match Winners. No other team can beat MI in this proposition.
Whether its Rohit or De Cock, Hardik or Krunal, Pollard or Bumrah. All of them can win games single handedly.
2. They have successfully retained their core for the last 8 years. They kept their big players safe even during the Mega Auction.
3. Each and Every batsman knew his role which made things simpler for them.
4. They had the most aggressive fast bowling line up with Bumrah, Boult, Pattinson and Coulter Nile.

What about the Uncapped players then??
Whether it’s Surya Kumar Yadav or Ishan Kishan.

Whether it’s Rahul Chahar or even Jayant Yadav in the final.
These guys have played like professionals. They understand their roles and execute what has been planned.
This was one season where Surya Kumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan had bigger impact than their international mates.
The way SKY has played for the last 3-4 years not just in IPL but also in domestic circuit, he definitely deserves a chance in Indian Side.
What about the leadership roles??
They have got two very calm minds in Rohit Sharma and Mahela Jayawardane.
It has literally become a cakewalk for these two guys to plan and deliver even in the most pressure games.
So what can stop Mumbai Indians from this kind of success??
A Mega Auction may be…..
Specially, teams like Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals badly need a mega auction.
So how many of you are looking for a mega auction that can change fortune of all the teams…
Also, what do you think was the stand out point for Mumbai Indians??

Yeah, a friend sent an article to me, saying that it was Ahmedabad

If that makes IPL even more interesting then I would like the change..

I think it will, cause we will have 9 teams then apparently… I think it is because there are so many great players but just 88 of them are technically able to play

Exactly, specially the uncapped players wo perform really well throughout the year don’t get a chance in IPL!!

Pretty much the same team without Umesh Yadav and Aaron Finch and if somehow we manage to bag Bumrah, it will be the dream team. I would also hope for a strong batting addition.

I don’t see Mumbai Indians releasing Bumrah at any cost 😅😅

I had somehow expected DC to grab the trophy, Yet with such wonderful players – batsmen, bowlers and allrounders – in different hues, we had MI once again.

Exactly, almost everyone was looking for a new IPL champion this time.
DC had the potential to grab the trophy but MI did it again very convincingly..

MI is looking like the Australian Team of the early 2000s or the West Indian team of the 1980s – a kind of invincible aura about them!

Yes, they truly look invincible as of now. It will take some real effort from other teams to beat them going into the next few seasons!!!
