Hello Guys,
Some great person has said :
“Nice Guys don’t always finish last.”
That’s the proverb which kept trending yesterday after New Zealand’s victory over India in the World Test Championship Final.
New Zealand have finally won their first ICC title after 21 years beating India in the World Test Championship Final by eight wickets.
World Cup 2015 – Lost in Final.
World Cup 2019 – Again lost in final.
But this time New Zealand didn’t come with and Underdogs tag. Right from the day one, they were the favorites.
Eventually, they proved why they’re rated so high by all the cricket Pandits.
Their victory will always be remembered as victory of hard work over talent & skills.
New Zealand is one team which focuses a lot on patience, plans and temperament.
They never ever had as many match winners as India, England or Australia have.
But they are just too good with making strategies and then implementing them really well in the pressure games.
They did the same against India in the Semi Final of World Cup 2019 as well where they beat them despite posting a mediocre total.
However, they couldn’t go over the line in the final against England where despite getting a tie and doing well in super over they couldn’t lift the trophy.
Two years since then, and they finally lift an ICC Trophy after 21 years in the same country where they missed it by inches.
New Zealand, is a team that relies on each and every individual to contribute rather than getting 2-3 heroic performance. They did the same in this game as well.
Their pace attack was lethal. Southee, Boult and Wagner were right up to the mark.
But one guy who was the difference among the two teams was Kyle Jamieson. He got crucial wickets in both the innings and eventually got rid of his RCB captain Virat Kohli in both the innings.

7 wickets and a handy knock with the bat allowed him to be the Man of the Match in this ultimate test.
Despite not being a dangerous batting line up, Kiwi batsmen posted good total in the first innings and chased the target quite comfortably in the second innings.
The ever consistent Kane Williamson was good with the bat and made sure there was no turbulence in the chase.
Kane Williamson and his men have earned a lot of respect globally for the way they play and the kind of sportsman spirit they always show.

Indian Team fans were definitely left heartbroken after the loss, but we all enjoyed Kiwis getting the WTC trophy and that’s the kind of image this kiwi team have created.
They are certainly loved by cricket fans all over the world.
So, what are your thoughts on the inaugural edition of World Test Championship.

Good for NZ that they finally got a win, but I’m sorry your team India only took second. Maybe next time. Wishing you well, Vikas.

It was Brendon Mcculum who change the mindset of this team and no doubt that Williamson lead the side very well in past few years and that confidence paid them with WTC title

Exactly, they have been regularly performing well for the last 6-7 years right after McCullum changed the approach.

I was most disappointed with rishabh pant shot but he played well though .Best thing india did is making cricket alive they could have drawn the game quite comfortably but they went on for win even though they lost .bumrah disappointed the most . Jamieson and Wagner spell in the second last session wow such a long spell with intensity Wagner bouncer pr bouncer it’s tough .I thought a player like kl Rahul was missing as he was in great form in intra squad matches he scored hundred may be next WTC .

Yes Arniket, Pant’s inning was crucial and it was good to see India going for a win rather than looking for a draw.

Toys play a very important role in growing kids. We as parents always look for things which encourage our kids to walk and run. There are toys which help them to do so. One such toy is Crocodile Wooden Pull Along Toy which is really amazing. Its colorful and bright design is appealing and is sure to catch the attention of kids and promotes kids mental and physical development.
The second toy I bought was Magnetic Writing & Drawing Board from Nesta Toys. My son loved playing with it. The toy set includes a Double-sided magnetic writing whiteboard, blackboard, marker, chalks, and eraser that can be placed on the ground without support. It has bright colors, have smooth edges, and made up of wooden material which is safe and allows kids to play wholeheartedly.
