Hello Guys,
7 Months from here and we’ll be witnessing the T-20 World Cup.
Team India will go into this tournament as favourites considering their recent form and the conditions they’ll be playing in.
Keeping T-20 World Cup in mind, this series against England was really crucial as Indian Team won’t be playing much T-20 games from here onwards.
The start of this series didn’t go the right way as India lost two of the first three games that too without showing good resilience.
But, as we’ve become accustomed, Team India went on to make a Remarkable Comeback and got convincing victories in the last two games that were actually Knock out matches for them.
It was quite interesting to watch players like Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan making impact right in their first game.
It never look like they were feeling the heat of International Cricket and eventually went on to do what they regularly do for Mumbai Indians.
Let’s have a quick look at some of the impressive performances throughout the series….
Suryakumar Yadav, whose inclusion had become the most debated topic among the cricket pandits, showed why he’s rated so high.

Virat Kohli was phenomenal throughout the series.
He got three big knocks of 73,77 & 80 which eventually earned him the Man of the Series Title.

Shardul Thakur has been doing really good recently both with the bat and ball.
In the fourth and fifth game he got two wickets in two balls and actually was the game changer on both the events.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was also good right from game one and saved his best for the last game.
In his spell of 4 overs he just conceded 15 runs and got two scalps in a game where more than 400 runs were scored.
This comeback has set the correct momentum for Team India ahead of the T-20 World Cup.
So, what did you like about this series and India’s chances of getting the T-20 World Cup trophy??

I don’t know anything about cricket but one thing I know that is power play. But, can you please explain me the purpose of power play in cricket? 🙂

Yes, I can definitely do that.
Powerplay is the term given to a set of overs with special fielding rules during a limited overs cricket match.
Lesser the number of fielders on boundary, more is the run-making opportunity for the batters which makes this phase really interesting…..
