A Week To Forget For CSK AS They Lose Two In A Row

Hello Guys,

When was the last time we saw CSK side look weak on the paper itself??

It’s rare, it’s very rare that you see CSK losing two matches in a row that too at the start of the tournament.

It’s even rare that a CSK side doesn’t look like winning the game.

So, what’s the reason behind this??

CSK is missing their 5 big match winners compared to the last two seasons.

Suresh Raina.

Harbhajan Singh.

Imran Tahir.

Dwayne Bravo.

Ambati Rayudu.

That’s like playing with your 50% potential.

MS Dhoni will have to think a lot about the combination before it’s too late.

While Raina & Bhajji skipped the tournament before the start, Bravo is still injured and hasn’t played a single game yet.

Ambati Rayudu who was the key pillar for CSK’s first victory this season is still unfit and CSK is missing him badly.

The biggest issue with CSK is they haven’t played their biggest match winner in Imran Tahir yet.

It would be interesting to see if they will bring him back to strengthen the bowling line up.

The good thing is that they have got a 6-day break that will not just help them to come back from injury but also to chip chop their plans.

So, what can CSK do from here??

1. The bowling line up looks good but is still missing a sheer wicket taker. Thus, they badly need Imran Tahir back.

2. The opening has failed badly. Possibly, they need to change both their openers.

Vijay and Watson haven’t performed at all and it also gives a chance to play another foreign player.

3. Inclusion of Dwayne Bravo will allow CSK to play an extra bowler which they were lacking in first three games.

The problem with CSK is not the two consecutive losses.

The problem is with their process and balance.

While Faf is the only batsman who is looking in some form, Curran is the only bowler performing regularly.

They are clearly lacking match winners which is hampering the whole unit.

A clear introspection is highly needed, so they can come back stronger.
